The Evo will no longer be a Lancer?
The Evo will no longer be a Lancer?
According to the new "Motor Trend" (January 2005, p.22), Mitsubishi is replacing the Lancer with a new sedan: the GS44. The IX Evo will be based on the current VIII, while the Evo X will be an all new model.
So I guess the new Evolutions will either be just Evolutions (without the Lancer), or GS44 Evolutions.

i did a search on the net for the GS44 and came up with this...look on the bottom towards model news...

I saw a picture of the evo X today. It is different, it is going to have to grow on me. But it is going to have over 300 hp. It is going to be bad a$$! Pick up a copy of the new road and track. It has a little write up on it in the future models section.
This is all I care about:
Everyday I countdown to this car being released in the states.
2007 Nissan Skyline GT-R : Nissan says the next Infiniti flagship might not be a Q45 sedan replacement, and hints that the Skyline GT-R supercar that appeared as a concept in '01 could be the next flagship. And now the bad news: the GT-R won't launch until calendar year 2007.
