Wow they do look similiar. Also Remember that Gm underrates their power output of their engines. The Camero F bodies of yesteryear were rated in the low 300s, and they were almost identical engines to the Corvette. They usually put down thier listed power to the rear wheels.
As much as I love highly technical magnesium blocks and 9,000 redlines, if you can make this much power, run sub 4 second 0-60s and 11.X quarters for this kind of money, it kind of makes you wonder why the AMG engines of Mercedes add 25K to the cost of a car. Same goes for the M5, almost a 90,000 dolalr car.
A perfect example is the 300C and SRT-8. Huge power, huge engines, and they make you scratch your head who to pay 80+ thousand dollars for a Viper, M5, M6, or AMG variant. Bring on the Chrysler FIREPOWER! (stupid name), and it might actually be intersting to see who makes some of the best performance cars.

Man those seats are ugly! First mod, update to Sparco's and chuck the fugly Chevy seats.
I would pimp that chevy! Probably the only American car worth owning.
I took my uncles c6 for a spin over Christmas. That is a nice car, but I will take my Evo thank you. My Evo actually feels more stable at 140MPH. Now, a c6 Z06 on the other hand, give me the Chevy!

I believe Yamaha made the induction system for the old Ford SHO's. Mercury Marine aided in the ZR-1. It was the expertise in lost foam casting.

Edit: I thought Yamaha helped them build it, but I just read it was Lotus and Mercury Marine. Anyone know for sure?

EDIT: Holy crap OK OK you are right about the M6...
