i would think its becuz the horzontal engine for front end protection when collison happens

top mount means shorter piping since it sits closest to the turbo and intake manifold. it's not because it gets damaged in rally, since in rally they use front mount. the only time it makes sense to upgrade to fmic on that engine is when it's powerful enough to push air thru all that extra piping.
so that car is fun going sideways, evo9 can do same exact thing, why wouldn't u buy it? both cars r basically same in terms of performance, ppl choose based on loyalty to either manufacturer or looks or specific car personality.

getting attention is one thing, but the subject of the thread gives ppl a type of "false advertisement" that pisses them off. like someone here said, it made them think something's gonna happen to mitsubishi. hence i called the SUBJECT LINE dumb. don't start arguing who's dumb and dumberER
u coulda just said "check out this clip of new STI!!11!1" or something, mkay? anyway, just wait till some road tests of the 2 cars, but i think the verdict will be the same as before: performance so close that both cars r equal, will come down to styling and car characteristics. and why would u misspell Trueno for ur sn?

which part is false?
lol why would i want to **** ppl off when i own an 8 myself just like i said i want to see how ppl react towards the new sti so i can make up my mind if i want to purchase one or not
what you guys need to keep in mind in regards to FMIC VS TMIC is that the turbo setup of the LanEvo is in the front hence the FMIC VS the turbo of a Impreza WRX/STi is in the vicinity of the rear of the engine compartment.
The key to this is piping and quickest way to cool the turbo, with that in regard hence the development of the factory designs of the Intercoolers.
Keep in mind TMIC VS FMIC for the stock locations, but it can work for both depending on the setup.

Eh. I like drifting. Cool vid....i agree with the others....slightly.. not exactly the right name for this thread.
The STi does exibit good control for exactly the reason someone stated earlier though. It was wet on the course so pulling drifts would be easier yes but how the guy manuevered the car around the corners showed the STi's handling. It pulled tight drifts around the S bends and the hairpins (minus the last one....that was under). Eh...i'm tired...so i'm ranting and prolly not making sense....let the flaming continue i guess...=_+....
