I've been looking for some info on what they are getting for power out of these things and I'm having a hard time finding much.

I've seen APR getting @250hp and 290 ft/lbs of torque with just a reflash. That's a 50 hp pickup overstock and almost a 100 ft/lbs which, I thought was pretty impressive. I think that direct injection is going to be huge in tuning turbo cars.

What are they doing with exhausts cams and all that good stuff? Or is it too soon?

I figured people would be paying attention since the Evo X might have direct injection.

i think its too soon for all the parts. apr is unusually fast with making parts. i haven't seen too much else out for these yet.

 

Exhaust makes a bit of a difference, I'm sure there are no cams out. When they do come out, they will be $$$ and if the 2.0T is like the 1.8t, they won't make that much of a difference. The 2.0T is a GREAt motor, but I would probably get an A3 with it. Those make 260+ hp and 305 ft/lbs of tq with just the reflash. Not bad powerwise for a car that gets 33 mpg highway.

 

I have one, but I dunno about mods, my wife drives it... it is an awesome car... imho far superior to BMW.
