STi uglier than the evo?? Boy, that means A LOT coming from people who have altezza's and pontiac vibe front ends. BTW, I don't see any major styling difference b/w the lancer and evo interiors...and b/w the 2.5ts and STi. I think it's hilarious that some of you think that the STi interior is cheaper! BOTH have cheap *** looking interiors and boyracer exteriors. Who gives a rats *** about the size of the hood scoop or rear spoiler. All serves a purpose...unlike the "altezza's" and blingin/r ic eboy "carbon fiber"

Quit your yappin about the ralliart version. It "ain't" here yet nor has there been any official announcement on specs/pricing.

If rumors are true that the msrp for the STi will be 30,995, the evo is going to have a hard time competing.

 

Having been on these boards for quite some time, I find it odd that so many are dissing the STI.
Here are some things that not so long ago you all assumed were comming to the US Evo
(1) A lot more than 271hp
(2) A six speed box
(3) Active Diffs

Well guess what, while the rest of the world enjoys these things, Mitsubishi deceided that you didn't need them.

Well Subaru didn't have a problem bringing them. And I know that lots of people will moan about the forthcomming Ralliart car.
There is no proof that this is coming to the US for one, and if Mitsu hadn't let the beancounters reign in the first place, we wouldn't even need to worry about it.

And to say the evo is beautiful, make me not ever want to see you're girlfriends.
These cars aren't beautiful, but they do go fast.
Hats off to Subaru for getting it right, and enjoy your evo's rattles in the meantime..........

I still say they both are amazing handling and performing machines for the money, which is what you buy the cars for ... not because you like interior

personal preferences are fine, but neither side is right in the aesthetics department. It's just that ... preference. So I say rock on mitsu, rock on subie let's get ready to rumble!!

 

I really value everyone's biased opinions on how the evo looks better! Cant believe anyone is actually taking you seriously...

Its funny how everyone is *****ing about its looks. Frankly, I think thats all the Evo has over the STi. And the Evo isnt much to look at either, making it kind of a stupid argument.

Its hard to call it ugly when you get the most powerful 4 cyclinder, ever made, for around 30k. I like it, from most angles. I agree the scoop is huge, but its kinda cool.

 

Last time I checked the website name is EVOLUTIONM.NET. If you have a Scooby then what the hell are you doing here? Causing problems is all I see.

 

I think that they are trying to educate those who are thick headed about all this.

 

Chill brother.. the evo and sti are so similar in design and function they're almost half brothers.. so of course you'll see scooby enthusiasts over here.. there seems to be quite a few evo fans on scooby forums too I have noticed..

nuff said... who cares if the ralliart aint here or if its ever gonna get here.. fact is, you know that once a ralliart ecu is dropped into an evo, say goodbye to your ugly sti asses.. you guys just cant accept the fact that your meazly wrx got comp now and you're just looking for alternatives to bring your egos back up to where it was BEFORE the evos arrived. and you THINK that evos are ugly solely bcoz your precedents are set on the "ugly" mode after falling in love with your beloved sti and now you're just calling the evo an ugly car so you guys could "reassure" yourselves that the sti will be better in more aspects than one. enjoy yourselves for the time being, but as for me and all the evo owners and evo lovers out there.. GO BACK TO YOUR OWN FORUMS and stop causin trouble over here.. get off of mitsu's nuts..

 

Yes you would. I didnt come here from a Scooby site. In fact, if you actually looked at my member number, you would know that I have been posting on this site for a long, long time.

Anyways, back on topic. Looks are subjective from person to person. Because they are not fact, they cannot be argued. Simple as that.

 

My point, proven. Besides, whos to say you cant stick a upgraded chip in a STi?
