vivid has a really bad rep in the scooby world(we dont try to mess with them to much)..but machv just purchased a evo..so they should be doing some stuff.

yep those are the STi's that all the Mitsu guys saw at the Irwindale Mitsu commercial shoot...they were there testing out the cars on the oval...hell even some of the mitsu heads were able to get a ride off one of the STi's! on a drift course! 
too bad i was in my car shooting the commercial...**** i woulda parked my car to ride in it...hehe from what i hear its a damn fast Scoob...
as for the styling...i thought it was ugly when i saw spy shots and the JDM versions...but its like the evo8/7 the styling just kinda grows on you.

How come EVERY SINGLE thread involving Sti/WRX ends up being another pissing contest is WAY beyond my knowledge 
Whatever you're rooting for, why can't everyone be a little more civil? Is it that tough to express your own opinion in a mature manner?
This is not directed anyone in particular, just my feeling of all these threads...
To me, both are great performance cars, without either one of them, the other WILL NOT be as advance as it is at the current stage. They are constantly competing and yet make the other improve....at any given generation, one might seems to be a step in the front, however, it seems like it will make up for the losses in the next gen....Good competition = happy owners....

Uhh, were we at the same commercial shoot???? There were absolutely no STis there...the only cars drifting were Rhys Millen in an evo 7 and a bunch of nissan, toyota, mazda guys having some drift event. I was there all night. FYI, these pics were taken the day after the shoot. No one saw any STis there during the shoot.
LanEvo, this thread should be closed. It's an utter disgrace. It's amazing how all the subie lovers come out of the woodwork and gang up. No respect.

Quality is what is lacking. But its a toss up between Subaru and mitsu, Subaru slightly better.

I dont think of my self as a Subaru lover, I simply hate it when there is an extremely one sided argument. People basing the STi for its looks really pisses me off. Frankly, it looks like both cars crash landed into the ugly tree.

Man, I can't believe how immature people can be when it comes to thier car. I'd like to thank all of you people that like to argue who's car is faster for making all of our insurance rates higher when you get in a wreck.
Anyway, of course I went to check out the evo when it came out. I've always loved the look of the Evos, but I wasn't too impressed by the new one. I can't say the front is any better looking than either the MY02 wrx nor the new 2004 wrx/sti front ends. I also never realized how long the car was. In person it looks like a boat, it's really huge. I didn't get to drive one but I'd love to have one for my girlfriend. She'd driving an "oz lancer" right now and hopefully someday we can trade it in for an evo. Best of both worlds.

Ugh, it's just idiotic. I have a passion for cars. Making everything a competition makes you look like the dumbass with a small ****.
