I like how the evo looks a lot, but what I'm trying to say is you cant just rely on the opinions of all these people who swing from the nuts of MMC. STi is good looking too. Theyre both good-looking, solid sports cars. People need to **** off with the comparisons and hateration, just buy whichever one you want, shut the **** up, and be happy with it.

Mitsu in general is always a follower it seems. Don't get me wrong I own one but... From what I've seen lately its, if they bump up the hp then we bump up the hp, if the wrx sells well then the evo should sell well. If they redesign then we should redesign. Ect. Ect. and on and on.

For everyone else... everything is personal preference. I endure daily razzing that I drive a rice burning POS (my beloved OZ Rally) from a guy (my boss actually) who drives a Pontiac GTP (turbocharged rental car if you ask me LOL) but anyway... yeah the pissing matches are funny...

If they weren't both incredible cars they wouldn't both have WRC championships under their belts, if they weren't cool in some way or another they wouldn't have such loyal followings.

You can also end up in the darn well if you spend 2,000 on this car it'll be faster than that car... yada yada.

And in the meantime... I'm going to have to learn how to drive well enough to get my Lancer with a redone suspension to do in my boss's GTP in autocross. Think I can do it?? LOL any pointers are appreciated.

Its stupid how every board I go to starts bashing on New cars that are just as good as the car they are owning.. maybe even better.

then come 6-12months later they start saying its growing on them and the car eventually looks nice.

The only thing i like about the sti is the specs. but i was a little disappoited when subaru changed the shape of the wrx in 2001-2002, the wing isn't involving enough in the styling of the car.I think the evo alway had everything involving with styling especially now .besides the quarter mile times and 0 - 60 are very close to the evo .
I think the advantage with the sti over the evo is hookupablity
"if there was such a work" with its 2.5l engine.
Just like there were always scooby enthusias (wrx) there will alway be evo enthusias

 

Yeah! i'm shore the us wont see the evo FQ-300 there is really no point . just like the jdm integra type r with 217hp when the rsxtype s has 200hp too close for so much more money
