I actually didnt take the pics and video, it was a friend. I wish I did though! I live too far away from there . I was there the day before at the mitsu commercial shoot.

Irwindale, CA ......where they filmed the EVO commercial on Sunday. It's Irwindale Speedway....an oval track and dragstrip.

 

they have NJ plates???

- Holy Hood scoop Batman!!! jesus how do you see over that thing?? i got a ticket for having a radar detector blocking vision - but that thing is retarted!!

 

btw how did the mistu comerical come out how did everything look? good turn out?

Don't like the air scoop at all.

 

I have to agree judging by the pics I think the Evo looks waay better. That scoop and overall shape look nasty to me.

 

That scoop is HUGE! I thought the scoop on my old 2.5RS was big. I don't really like the agressive rake on the scoop either, at least not at the angle the first pic shows it at. The hoodline also drops off real fast towards the front. May be better for aero, but looks kind of odd.... would probably look better with a nice hot air extraction vent in it like the WRC car!

I can't wait to see on in person, hopefully the photos aren't doing the car justice.

 

I have to say the EVO8 does look better!
