Nothing like the quality of a French-built car.

+1. though i'm sure those tires have loads of grip i don't think they have enough to cause the axle to give out first.

It is a Citroen Xsara, same car that won the championship for the last two years..Ironic isn't it? . Besides the point, what is wrong about french cars? They all are one of my favorites brands. They have won multiple times best european cars of the year.

Citroen won two consecutive rallys with that specific car with Sebastian Loeb
Peugeot has won many many Paris- dakar rallies among the records they have the worlds fastest Pikes peak speed just to name some.
Renault has won two consecutives Formula one championships and multiple rally and gran turismo cups(Renault 21 turbo, renault 5 turbo, Gordhini and many more)

Before we trash the French car lets have a second and think about the american car industry guys, we still build drum brake cars, solid rear axle, leaf suspension and crap like that.

You guys think of french cars because the french left a very bitter stamp on the us market because they could bring their top model cars and the ones left in the US market were left abandoned with no parts support and that is why you see the renaults alliances, the peugeot 505s and what not but they are great cars.

Off course I agree that the video is laughable and I also agree with your sense of humor but lets differentiate humor with a good stablished and pioneer french makers.

watch this:

http://www.robbygordon.com/cms/publi...ndex_100.shtml

Any ford,GMC,Chevrolet,Pontiac,Cadillac,Oldsmobile capable of building a 2.0l spec rally car? No I don't think so.

from 1971 to 2006 French cars has won 11 world championships, not bad, that is almost half of the times...

http://www.rallycars.com/Cars/wrc_statistics.html

We need to find other ways to critizise French cars other than trying to justify that french cars are poor quality built base on a videoclip that shows one tire giving up in a tight 180 turn during a hardcore competition. The second tire fell off due to the extra stress cause by not having the two tires in the back.

my .2c
