It did have one however I spent an hour removing that damned Mopar BOV plate from the bottom of the turbo, such a tight squeeze and there is no room for a ratchet. And for the "american built car" thing? alot of that car is mitsubishi I thought... doesn't daimler/chrysler have relations with mitsu? Hence 3000gt/Stealth/Eclipse/Laser/Talon??? Hell our turbo the TD04 is the same thing as a 16G.
TD04 is NOT the same as a 16g.

I did not want to read this entire thread.. my eyes hurt. Bottom line is both cars are bad ***! If the neon came with an awd drive platform then it would be even better. On the other hand you cannot beat the 4g63. That motor has been around for well over a decade. You can make close to 400whp on the stock turbo alone! When it comes to the evo, you cant beat it.. great suspension, awsome brakes, killer motor. Cant go wrong. For the price of a fully loaded srt4, you can get a good used evo. If you take a fat chick, dress her up, put make up on, get her hair done and throw on some perfume........ she will still be a fat chick!

Sorry to hear you're a newb, AND that you have an SRT-4. All jokes aside, I wouldn't trade it in until it was paid off because you have so much other stuff to worry about with your finances. Pay the SRT off first, and then worry about getting another car. You may get an Evo and regret selling the SRT. Basically, pay the car off before worrying about getting a different car.

I think the time is now to start training myself for financial stability otherwise it may be too late when I am older and keep flipping cars, and losing money etc etc. Plus, it's not like the SRT-4 isn't something that makes me happy.

Happens all the time. My brother used to swear it was a 16g also.

You only owe $11,000 dollars on the car. I say keep the car and get it paid off. Then you own that car. (only costs will be insurance, gas, maintenance). If you trade it in now, you will still pay that $11,000 or more (depending on negative equity), and you don't have that car. Get the Evo when this one is paid off, then you have 2 cars. You can use the Neon as a beater then.

anyone can say something like this online. even an 8 yr old child can say this. go tell this to some of the evo owners in YOUR area. im not really sure if you and Dade County lives in the same area. anyways, as for my suggestion to you, pay the car off and invest your money on getting a house[if you dont have one yet]. just my 02.

Personally I would not mod a car that is not paid off.

I would strongly suggest you to stop spending money on mods for the time being, and use the money to pay down your loan instead. I'm not sure if you're currently in college, renting or already have a house of your own. Either way, you should to invest some of your money.

By the way, this is an Evo forum, so of course there will be people bashing your car. I don't have anything bad to say about the SRT-4s since they're great for what they cost, but what's the point in trying to change other people's on an Internet forum. Just enjoy your own car.

keep the srt4 and get the evo when you feel like your financially ready. Srt4 is a nice car and I bet it can keep up with the evo if work is put into it.
