Charger SRT8
Some Subie engines burn a little oil and some don't. Never had any issues with it in my STi.
Overall, the cars hold up very well. The Legacy GT is definitely underrated. It's pretty luxurious and low priced with good power and great modding potential.

I really like the front of SRT-8 Chargers, Exhaust + S/C + Intake + Chip and ur set!
Over all beautiful car, But id much rather have an SRT-10 Viper, or SRT-10 Ram

Personally I'd look into Jamevo8's suggestion of the SRT8 Cherokee, 2nd fastest production SRT (behind the viper) Its actually faster than the charger/300 SRT8 models. 0-60 is around like 4.8 I believe and in the 1/4 they're blazingly fast for an SUV, putting down around 13.4-13.5 seconds. Also, they're cheaper than the Charger or 300, Im kinda confused why more people dont actually buy these?

Not sure what the gearing is on the CTSV.. but im sure 6th gear is worthless, but will get you amazing gas mileage! The lsx broad tq range allows you to easily start in 2nd, go to forth then right to 6th.. If your drive it like this, your getting great gas mileage.. in the city, the evo gets very good gas mileage... on the highway not great due to gearing and AWD, so on long road trips you mpg should be up.

I don't know what part of the country you live in, but when my dad and I test drove the SRT-8 Jeep we loved it, were ten minutes away from buying it and then realized it was RWD. I don't think that would be a problem for you, and as a 06' Jeep Grand Cherokee owner I think it is an awsome car on the highway, but gas mileage is terrible. Also test drove the 300C but felt like I should be in the mafia so we passed on that too. All the SRT8 cars are beast though, just watch out for the MPG if your worried about it. Finally, take a look at an S4 or M5 if your in the market for a powerful luxary sedan. Good luck
Let me pose this question, who DOESNT need an SUV that does 0-60 in 4.8?
And as for good mpg, if thats the main you're looking for you shouldn't be looking at any SRT8 model, suv or sedan. Or any hemi chrysler product really...my friend has a Hemi Ram 1500 reg cab/short bed. It doesnt get over 10mpg mixed hway/city. But who cares? Its fast as hell.

Holy crap....thanks for all of the feed back guys! The SRT8 Jeep is definitely AWD which is why it has posted some crazy fast quarter mile times in the mags and so on. I have considered looking at one of those as well due to it's low price tag compared to the Charger but every time I think about the mpg's on any of the SRT models I feel like throwing up. I'm really liking the CTS-V even though it's much smaller on the inside and feels a little cheap considering it's a Caddy. I drove one before the weather took a turn for the worse here yesterday and couldn't help but notice all of the noise coming from inside the cabin. There were a lot of squeaks and rattles through out the interior of the car which was used but it only had 12k miles on it. Is that normal for the CTS? I love the fact that it's a manual with plenty of get up and go. The gas mileage isn't to terrible for that kind of performance either. I picked up a copy Consumer Reports to see what they had to say about both cars and they kind of gave the Charger a semi bad review due to it being below average in reliability. They actually recommend the CTS-V. My father (who has nothing to do with me buying a car) thinks I should look at the Lexus IS250 & 350 series along with the new G35 since they are well within the price range of a used CTS-V or Charger SRT8. Damn that Charger looks so freaking good though, especially in black with tinted windows.
XK120-
I've never really considered looking at Volvo's. I sat in a couple at the Detroit Auto Show and liked them very much but they were pretty expensive if my memory serves me right. There was one at the dealership yesterday that appeared to be a hard top convertible. It was a C70 T5 going for 40k with 5700 hundred miles on it.
