Charger SRT8

Just wondering if anyone else on here has driven one of these? I'm sort of in the market for another car in addition to my Evo and was originally looking at picking up a used Caddy CTS-V but instead found a slightly used 07 Charger SRT8 with 1600 miles on it. I never really cared for these cars until I drove this particular model. Those things have tons of space on the inside and are not all that bad looking inside or out IMO, plus they have 425 hp and 400 lbs. of torque. The bad thing is they weigh nearly 2 1/2 tons and they get a pathetic 17-20 mpg all while sipping on premium fuel. Looking for more imput about this car from people who know folks with them or from people who may know more about this car than I do .

I would kill for 17-20 mpg on my IX.

That's a sweet ride. Dodge has been hitting some real home runs lately. SRT = kick ***.

I bet an exhaust on that would sound awesome. DO IT.

It's a nice and aggressive looking car, but it's way too heavy. You should get a CTS-V. It has a better power to weight ratio, and better handling. It's also better looking in my opinion. The CTS-V has a more classy style to it. That's all I can say about this subject. Too me, the most logical choice would be the CTS-V.

As a daily driver, I would get something with a better gas mileage. But it seems like you have your mind set on something with power.

In that case I'd go for the CTS-V, simply because it's a Cadillac and the interior is a lot nicer.

nice car.. but not much comparison between that and the CTS-V.. There are alot of cheap easy mods you can make on the V, I havent see many high powered chargers yet, plus they are pretty much straight line only! but sound of a high powered v8 cant be beat.

Get the charger its cheaper then the cts-v and they dont weigh 4500 lbs. They weigh 4100.

I'd skip both and get a Legacy GT. If it doesn't have enough power for you, mods are cheap and reliable.

The car will hold up a lot better than those two and you won't like an old man driving it.
