Should I buy this Mini?

If you own an Evo, would the 07 MINI Cooper be a good buy as a daily driver?

I was thinking about waiting for the AWD model coming out in 08 but since I already have an Evo, that will be kinda pointless coz the main reason I'm considering the MINI is coz is engineered by BMW, great gas mileage and rarity, and all the safety features are amazing too, oddly enough making the MINI an even safer vehicle than the Evo.

I took one for a test drive and I was not impressed. I think it was a 2005 Cooper S. It will make your evo seem like a rocket ship. Get a Civic for a DD.

your right. compared to the evo it isnt fast... But for an average car the SC's coupled with its light weight makes it a fun car anyway. would be a fun DD I think.

I'm also considering the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla and the Nissan Versa, all known as fuel efficient vehicles.

yeah I can wait, I dont have to buy one vehicle until august thats when i moved out to my new town in Utah, plus buying a car over there will be cheaper than California. I just called sales taxes is 6% something over there and in CAli is 8.25%

wouldn't the AWD use more gas? well that is the main reason I don't wanna use the Evo so much. I spent 40 dollars last fill-up never spent so much that is a new high record for me and gas seems to go up in a daily basis

I'm thinking going diesel motor, let me see what i can find

If you guys know of any diesel vehicles currently being sold in the US, please let me know.
