Thumbs up BMW 135i coupe driven!! First test drive writeup

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1855

I think that's the first review from a test drive of the 1er coupe, at least the first one I've seen. Positive overall. Aftermarket should be huge for this car I'm guessing.

Good link. This car has become one of my favorite cars of all the times. It is a true pocket-rocket for masses. RWD and tons of power, it will be a awesome car for road courses.

As strange as it might sound and contrary to what people might think I also don't think the 135i is the best looking car but besides the looks the overall package that the car offers is very hard to beat.

Where are you getting this from? . I also heard a long time ago that the Evo X was going to be lighter despite its bigger size and look how much it weights.

The 335i is absolutely fully loaded of safety gadgets(Dymanic stability control, adaptive braking, adaptive steering, electric seats, 6 airbags and all safety array of safety features that a new era car has) In top of that add massive 13.6 rotors, 18" rims etc, etc. I am nor surpised of the weight but despite all I still think it is one of the fastest cars around for its underrated announced power

edit: i thought i heard a couple ppl here praising the 135 bc it would be lighter than the evo x, thats all. just like how those same people claimed 330hp for the sti and a lighter wt than the outgoing sti

"With 300 horses and a fat 300 lb-ft of torque pushing along only 1,560 kg, BMW claims the 135 is as fast as the old M3"

fyi the evo x weighs 1520 in gs-r trim, 1540 with sst
