You may want to see if any other Honda engines can drop into the tiny CRX bay. You never know what you might find.

Imagine if it was possible to cram an H22A into a CRX! The little shopping cart would HAUL!

you can fit a B16a engine into a crx which would give you a nice boost in hp. You can also check to see if you can fit a B18 in but i dont know if it will work. but the b16 would be awesome and im positive you can fit it.

Ayup...he's got it. I think the B18 though is a shade to big and the tranny might cause fitment problems. The B16 off of an Si would be marvelous!

ya but the B18C5 would be an amazing motor for that leightweight car....imagine some type-R cams and cam gears and type-R injectors for that motor, that thing would be quick as hell.

Mmmm...a Honda Tuning mag from a couple of months ago had a whole section devoted the the B series engine lineup. Very informative. The CRX with that motor would be the ultimate little sleeper. Perhaps that or that one hatchback Civic with a twin turbo H22 that "b" posted while back.

The B16A should be a very good choice in terms of availability and price.

If a GSR would fit that'd be a nice engine..
A kid at my old school dropped an LS short block out of an integra in his an he got a hell of a boost out of it..
with a few other mods.. Don't know any specs or anything else he did.. just thought I'd throw that in..

I guess that would be nice if you've some extreme hp goal (for a CRX chassis) in mind...
