a buddy of mine just bought a 1st gen talon. the car drives fine but when it idle's it keeps rev'n up and back down just over and over again. anyone know what the problem could be??

lol u might want to go to a DSM forum. www.dsmtalk.com is a good place....but yes..idle problems are common with 1st gen DSM's. many problems probably exist in that car...just like any other 1st gen DSM heheh.

 

Its called Idle surge DSM's are notorious for that, at least 1G's are from what I read. Check out www.dsm.org for ;some help , your best guess is look at there home page an find the link to 1000 already asked DSM questions, I know for a fact the answer is there and a fix. Tell your buddy nice choice of a car to.
