Ferrari F430....

So I got a question for the big ballers on this site that have had some high end exotics. I currently have the chance to buy a Ferrari F430 at a ridiculously low price..... so here is the catch.

A friend of mine owns the car and he wound up crashing it when he was racing an M5 (yes I know he is a dumbass ) and the insurance company would not total the car and it is currently undergoing a makeover that is somewhere in the range of $120k....

My questions are:

1. Would you buy it for the right price knowing you are getting this thing really, really cheap?
2. What do you say the right price is for something like this?

You cant put a price on F430 ... well actually you can just remember that the resale value is going to be hard with the prior history of the car.. A friend of mine had an accident with his bentley GT 65 grand of damage and noone wanted to buy it.. he ended up GIVING it away to the dealer for a new one for a HUUUUUGE loss

He is a very good friend of mine and he is ridiculously loaded so he is getting rid of it if he can, he didnt give me a definate number. He said if he cant get rid of it for a reasonable $ then he will have the first F430 to have 100k on it (He lives in Miami and drives to Boca Raton everyday).

I most definately dont have any problems with getting laid, check 4wstuning.com and you will see my GF in the pics of my car. I would buy it simply for the fact of having it to track and beat the living crap out of it and not worry all that much....

People who own cars like that don't worry if they can afford it or not.A purchase like that to a rich person will have no impact on there lifestyle what so ever.If you have to ask if it's a good deal i would stay clear of buying a car of that type, just think about maintinance, registration, insurance and so no and so on,that car will end up running your life and sucking up all your income.

If you need to ask a forum whether or not you should sink 100+K into anything, you are one or more of the following:

1. trying realllllllly hard for attention,
2. had a lot of money given to you and should have someone else managing it,
3. got really lucky and will be broke again soon, or,
4. couldn't afford it and are dreaming.

Seriously, what kind of question is this?:
"Would you buy it for the right price knowing you are getting this thing really, really cheap?" It barely makes sense...

ah, maybe i'm just jealous

I would pass on it. No one want's to buy a crashed and then repaired Ferrari. Unless you can get it under 40k, then it might be worth it.
