There is so much bad design in the automotive aftermarket, it's overwhelming sometimes.
Since I had the pleasure of attending art school after college, I learned the basic tenets of good design...one of which is simplicity. Good designers know when to stop. Bad ones don't. Look at the W16 Golf...you may not like it, but it is sleek, simple and elegant:

That Wald visual horror show is not. Everything looks tacked on and the front is a poor rip-off of the CLK63 AMG Black Series.
