I have always had a thing for S2K. Personally I would buy a non CR edition one and mod it to my own personal tastes. Wonder why the revert back to the AP1 shock/spring damping settings.

It's not really the same settings. But each iteration of the S2000 got a softer rear end to counter some of the snap oversteer in the AP1. The AP2 was softer in the rear, the AP2.5 softer yet. The CR stiffened up all 4 corners and the balance is closer to the AP1. It is by most measures the best handling iteration of the S2000, less understeer biased than the AP2s but without being quite as tail happy as the AP1, and having a higher absolute limit than either (though this is as much due to the tires).

Unfortunately it didn't offer a real power bump, and the front bumper is pretty damn ugly.

The big thing right now is stealing the seats, so with a hard top, he should be OK.

He bought a 2009 CR, which is the final run, the final model year, whatever you want to call it.

The S3000 is an internet fantasy.

Thus, no, there is not another year of S2000s, and no the S3000 is not coming out.

I love the idea of the car but like WestSideBilly, I question its execution and price point. Plus, the fact that there is nothing understated about its exterior additions make it more boy racer than weekend racer.

May I ask why you're selling it already?

A lot of dealers ordered a bunch of them and then couldn't sell them, so they're discounted to below invoice at a lot of places.

Um selling it still just a feeler for the most part. I hated the CR at first before i test drove it its night and day difference with the base S. Much better in a corner an feels a little faster in a straight. Don't think these cars are not quick i kept up with a stock 08 STI not saying much but they are quick not fast. I picked the CR instead of moding a S to my liking to keep a warranty this car is great out of the box does not need any thing. In years to come i might just throw a supercharger on it to get some real numbers out of her. But i want more track time and to go to a weekend driveing school course so they can show me how to get the most out of the car how it sits right now stock. U can get these at some places cheaper than others. But they are rare only #668 of them are out right now and only #127 are yellow. I love the black hard top goes great the interior is black and yellow so the hole scheem goes great. Mods to come
Alarm system, carbon intake extensoin hooks up to stock intake, carbon cooling plate, thats it though im trying to stay stock for a while

Nice car. Not a fan of the spoiler though. I always liked these cars, but could never own one for myself, just due to its interior size.

the yellow would take a bit for me to get used to, but you really cant go wrong with an s2000. beautiful cars all around, although that spoiler is a little offensive.

Nice CR. I'd rather have the base model though.
