I had a 96 civic that was my DD for 4 years. Never had any issues with it. Cheap insurance, good on gas, and parts are cheap.

Worst DD list ever. Find something cheap, simple to maintain, and disposable. Old Focus, Neon, Civic, etc.

+1 but to be honest you have your evo already why get another car to get into. just get a car thats in your price range and gets good gas milage and with money you save from not modding two cars you can put into your evo!!!!

Thanks for all the replies....I just wanted something that is reliable, cheap, and fairly easy to maintain. I also wanted something that could be a little fun to drive but if reliability comes into play I'll pass on it.

I don't think it's that bad of a list. He mentioned the Civic and the 240 is another good option, that's cheap, simple to maintain and disposable.

OP, I have had a 240 for my DD for 9 years, it's a good car, and fun to drive. They are reasonably priced, easy to mod and make great hobby cars in addition to DD's. There are also a ton of performance/aftermarket parts available at reasonable prices.

But I admit I am biased. Nismo baby!lol

Miata. They're cheap, they're fun, and they're reliable. I prefer driving my 120whp miata over my 350whp DSM, the miata is just a better car to drive.
