Yeah the 2008+ WRX has been very unreliable so far. Actually Mitsubishi continues to be top 10 in reliability. Not sure why Americans are so down on the brand. They outsell Subaru up here in Canada and everywhere else in the world.

I think they should be 3rd then, since nissan and infinity are basically the same company, that should make infinity loose some of its reputation hahaa

I wonder if the reason why the WRX got "worst model" was because of the engine failures on the earlier-built 2009 WRX. The issues were fixed after the first few months of production so that could have given the 09 WRX a bad report. And since the asterisk next to "WRX" represents that they only used one model year for the consumer report, i would imagine it would have been the 09 WRX model. Its too bad, because the 09 WRX is a great car. You just have to get a later build date.

not sure how big the data sample was, but the most impressive thing about this stat would seem to be that there is no deviation at all..all mitsu models had the same amount of above average spread on problems reported.

I've failed my mass airflow sensor and had to participate in a recall and a couple of TSB's..at least mitsubishi is forthcoming on improvements. The mass air is still a bit disappointing.

It's quite amazing how Mitsubishi has such consistent reliability across all its models, where some makes have such HUGE variation (like Volkswagen).

Nice, it's great to have a vehicle that's considered reliable by people who don't matter.

umm this test is looking at the best/worst model of each manufacturer.

it's just that mitsu didn't even make the list of manufacturers they looked at, not that they don't have any crappy cars

unless i misread something

TrueDelta's reports say mitsubishi's got a very low # of problems even compared to hondas or toyotas.

Guess people aren't complaining about the paint on the eclipses =) Mitsubishi could really take advantage of that list actually. Price and reliability make good advertisements.

I've owned many Mitsubishi's and my family also owns lots of Mitsubishi's, were even fans of their camera, scopes and forth "Nikon". I've had zero issues rather than minor issues like rocker molding on the X and thats about it!

The problems with most evos aren't the cars fault, it's the drivers beating the **** out of them.
