Ford Focus head room etc

im 6'4'' and i was reacently lookin at the focus(hatch) and was wondering, what is the leg room and head room like in there. my guess is that there is almost no way i would be able to fit in one. also is there any difference in head and leg room between the 3 door and the 5 door? thanks

Nah bro.....I bet you can fit in a focus. It has the most headroom of all other hatches(i think) also I've driven in one many times and it has ALOT of space in there....So go check it out for your selve.
Sucks being tall.... haha

6'3" here and all legs. the focus had a decent amount of room, but WOW was i disappointed with that car (it is a ford afterall, and it shows)... blind spots galore from the tiny mirrors, odd shifter feel (very weak feeling), not really impressed with the power (and i drove the svt).

i could go on and on about other reasons why i wouldn't get that car (namely, depreciation). for that price range, go for something else.

I drove a focus (5 door) for a few months (i'm 6' 5"). I hated every minute of it, uncomfortable, and I was always hitting my head on something in the car.

hmm mixed feelings. well a got a quick question about the focus(i am talkin about the svt version). the main reason im lookin at it is cause i just like the car and ive always liked the way hatch backs look but i hate wagons. if youve seen the 5 door, does it look werid compared to the 3 door? cause it would be good to have a 5 door one instead of a 3 but i dont want one that looks like a wagon. also how much room is in the hatch area cause i would want enough room to have 2 10's or 1 12 and still be able to hold a gang of skateboards from my friends and mine.

Neon SRT-4, WRX, Sentra SE-R SpecV, Used 350z, Mazdaspeed Protege, and a RSX is your list to choose from all the cars I listed have +'s and -'s look at each one of those before you decide on your next car. My personal opinion would be either the WRX or SRT-4 I think those 2 are the best for the money my opinion.

what (in your opinion) makes these cars better than the focus? exclude the wrx since it is almost 5k over what a focus costs. also remember that the focus does not come with a turbo so its a little differnet comparing it to a srt-4(although it is a good lookin and performin car).

I am 6'3" and I have ZX3 I have no problem at all. plus if all else fails.... I hated how the factory seats sat up so damn high so I ordered aftermarket seats fab'd up some brackets here at the shop and lowered the seat height and moved it back some more for more leg room! KICK ***!!!! I love driving my car now plus it handles like a go-cart. a focus isn't a bad car but don't plan to make it fast cuz that day will only happen if you have some DEEP pockets. But yeah you won't have any problems with fitting in it it's alot bigger than people think.

well that kinda sucks, i was hoping if i got an svt or something i could make it faster. does it really need that much money to make it a fast car?

well the SVT is a little quicker than the stock regualr focus. BUT why buy the SVT when you can get the new focus with the 2.3 in it? It is faster than the svt but the same price, do some body work, and some customizing and you have a good looking decently fast car but not bad! I'll sell ya mine I have ALOT of stuff done to mine and still some parts i bought last winter i still haven't put on and alot more. Send me a PM and we can chat I have a bunch of pictures to, and by the way mine will keep up with a SVT no problem let me know.
