Do i see a Akrapovič exhaust? @Robevo RS

I have a 2019 Yamaha MT 09, tons of fun, and its a beast. I meant it, it is a beast.
3 cylinder 850+ ccm / 6 speed , slipper clutch , ABS , TCS 3 modes TCS and Power delivery. etc.

I have a full titanium Akrapovich on it, makes beautiful sound, and looks better then the stock exhaust, factory quick shifter (clutchless upshifting) , the comfort seat etc.
the commute is absolutely a blast.

not to mention very quick in traffic, (TQ monster) and 44+ mpg, cheaper tolls and free parking

Thank you
i was in the Market either the Triumph street triple or the Kawa Z900 , the DUKE 790 or the MT 09.

for me the price , reliability and performance mix boils down to Duke 790 or MT 09.

than i found out the KTM problems and prices ( service etc) so i decided go with the MT 09. The DUKE and the Triumph better bikes , but the price difference and parts etc made me not buying them. For the street , performance difference is minor vs the prices between those, and the MT 09 wins. Not surprise why is such a hot bike

My newly bought Evo 9 will be my main daily driver but previously my daily was a 2008 Toyota Mark X 250G (AT). Now it will be my wife's daily car. The other white car in the background is a Suzuki Swift Sport 1.6 (M) that I bought for my son as his first car.

Driving a 2001 Skoda Octavia bought from auction for 700 (passed 2 inspections with minimal work); didn't ship my Evo over thinking it wouldn't pass inspection... come to find out there are a few Evos in Germany!

Until next year, a 2012 Civic. 42mpg on the highway makes me happy. Pretty much the antithesis of my Evo. I like the contrast, but it's not "fun" to drive, by any means.

I wanted a stealthy daily, so I chose a chassis that was originally equipped with a 4-cylinder and made it deathly silent with an mostly original V8 engine for reliability

Had to stick a turbo on it thought because stock 4.x/5.xL Engines with a small cam and factory head only makes like 350hp by itself, so this way it can have 700~hp instead

I made the engine easy to work on and remove, I have full plug access (30 minutes to change all 8) and can remove the full exhaust system/turbo in around 1.5 hours. Its about twice as difficult to work on as a 2.0L or 3.0L inline engine, but the displacement and robust drivetrain (wheelstand capable for around $300 in hardware) make up for that.

Looks very docile with the hood down, like a regular 240 4-cylinder. Stock wheels on the front help the disguise but it needs meat and weight on the rear for traction using street tires. I can get 0-45mph before most people can lift their foot off the clutch from a red light without making a sound outside the car.

With just 4-5psi of boost and 87 octane I've put around 10,000 miles on it with the OEM camshaft last year (approx 350ft*lbs of torque from 2500-5500rpm) at 3000lbs using $2.25/gallon fuel

I'm an economy nut, build thread if curious, and its for sale soon also (I build something every couple years then sell and build a new combo)

oh no. I said/meant that 350ft*lbs of torque on 87 octane and I usually don't even take it past 6k so roughly 350-380bhp on 87 is typical.
Nobody should try to push boost(compression) on 87 fuel, that is the worst fuel you can buy pretty much. Even 93 is pretty poor choice for performance, but it works if the engine is built for it (mostly stock parts and low compression).

5.3L 9:1 compression using 93 octane with 50/50 methanol/water is extremely safe to use at 15-18psi where 750bhp using any sufficient turbo through a 4l80e, about 580-620rwhp dynojet is typical when using 5.3L under 6k rpm with 17~psi of boost pressure on factory (head) engine from 02-08.

These engines cost roughly $400 and last 100,000miles or more when setup properly (Escalade, Yukon, Silverado, Denali, express Van, and more) use these reliable low compression 'LS' engines. They also make Aluminum, slightly higher compression versions which are also lighter such as "L33" which weighs 100lbs less and supports even more power 800-1000rwhp is typical, so I recommend prep one of those as a spare for most people doing this swap, since they are very affordable and it isn't difficult to find them.
The best part of this swap is the affordable engines that do not require machine work to handle 1000rwhp ranges, simply add a cam and turbo and you can do stuff like this:
That is the same kind of 'truck' engine iron block at 6.0L (the largest 'cheap' truck engine from 02-08~) all original engine with cam/spring and turbo. Its very affordable minded, theres a whole wiki about it somewhere (google sloppy wiki)
footbreak 4l80e launch, E85 around 30psi of boost 1000rwhp on the original engine internals for hundreds of dyno and several racing events.
If you check the youtube owner's videos you will see the same truck/engine hundreds of times thrashed on the dyno over years of abuse working up to 1k rwhp.
