I've never been partial to them either, but I can respect their heritage and collector status.

Should be a phenomenal car. I expect tons of pics when you take delivery.

I also hope you ordered it with a subdued paint job instead of the obnoxious silver/red or black/red color scheme they've been showing the car with.

You can only get the LS model in either Black/Red or Silver/Red. But from the order form it looks like he got the Black/Red.

Ford's generally very happy to offer custom orders. You should be able to order a Laguna Seca edition without vinyl and with a normal Boss color.

Haha, here's what the GTR guys are saying about ^^^^. http://www.nagtroc.o rg/forums/index.php?showtopic=48866

imo, to say a pre-production car lap time someone clocked with a stop watch is more valid than what motor trend did when it clocked the gtr and boss is silly.

I like the idea of the Boss Mustang. I very much like the car itself, but like its been said for the process u cam get a used Z06, which I would say is a better car. I'm getting the Z..06 myself, but the mustang is a hell of a car.

While a nice idea, finding an available allocation that wasn't marked up over MSRP took me 8 different dealerships. The fact that I was able to find a Laguna Seca allocation was pure luck. With the signed order confirmation, I'm not going to do anything to press my luck at this point.

For what it's worth, I kind of like the gaudy paint/vinyl scheme. It's not a daily driver so I don't have to explain to my clients why my car is covered in BOSS graphics.

Cool car but im very partial to the Z06 C5 and C6 so my option is skewed. I love how you can find a C6 Z06 with under 10k miles from some old man who probably never even went full throttle in the car for nearly half its MSRP.

Nothing better than taking clients in a car with a suspension that will rattle their teeth out, too
