as for the challenger SRT-8, I think it is the 2008 models where all the cars where numbered and have kept their value. first buyers of the challenger where jay leno and carmen electra. the interior of the challenger are similar to all american cars like the GT500, etc. a retro look with modern functionality.
I am beginning to feat my eyes on a ZL1 though. Looks like one tough muscle car, the same essence those 60s muscles had.

The GT500 indeed looks like one bad a$$ car, the same classic look the 60s Shelbys had combined with a modern look.
If only they were still selling the ultra rare GT350, but the GT500 will really be perfect.
Honestly, it seems like I am down to 2, the ZL1 vs GT500. And yes, the GT500 is rich in racing heritage.

I was once watching YT videos of the GT500 and the mighty Ford GT, and I was saddened by some comments of people saying "American cars sucks", etc. And one was even an American himself bashing the pride of America in the automotive scene which are these muscle cars. How can one guy hate the products of their own country when people from other countries are dying to get their hands on these wonderful machines like the GT500, the ZL1 or even a Challenger SRT8. Sometimes, it is not always about the power, but it is about the beauty and heritage of the machine.
These American muscles had made a mark in history, those big rumbling V8 engines with so much torque, that classic sound, and the muscle car look - not aerodynamic, huge, but extremely scary. And I am happy that these US companies like GM, Ford, Dodge, etc., are bringing back these wonderful machines in their old form but combined with modern looks and superb performance.
I am a huge Japanese car fan, and I have had a few Euros before, but for some reason, I am more than excited to own a classic modernized American muscle, be it a GT500, a ZL1, or even a Challenger SRT8. In fact, I am more excited now than how I was excited when I was about to get my R35. Maybe it is because this is my first Muscle car? But nevertheless, it is something me and my garage looks forward to.
Speaking of American muscle too, I will soon test drive a car I had been longing to drive - a Dodge Viper! =)

I've never been a Ford fan. The only Ford I ever owned, was a Mazda. If I had one Ford, it would be the Ford GT. It's retro, fast, and looks as good as the original. It's one of those rare cars that anyone can appreciate, no matter what type of car or manufacturer you like. That is the best car Ford ever made, and has a timeless look as well.
