IMHO the Ford GT is the pinnacle of all American made supercars. I would take the GT over a ZR1 in all honesty.

If a C6 Z06 is out of the question, then I would be looking at a new Shelby GT 500

You could buy replacement parts made for the GT1000 and fit them to your GT500, rather than go out and buy a GT1000.

own a 2010 Camaro 2SS/RS with some add ons, [LF Supercharged] it is a great machine, handleswell and made plenty of power at the rear. the engine makes power low&mid and was great for take offs. it sounds great with the corsa Exhuast system and the interior is decent with the 2ss package. I really like the gauge layout and the comfort of driving my camaro. But i always was a Chevy guy not ford or Slopar.
