It would with some trimming of the bumper. I will get some close up pix to show what the scoop is.

So I'm trying to understand this. This car will be full Evo swapped ? Or you are using the stock sohc 2.4??? I'm trying to swap a outlander as well for a 5 speed conversion and full Evo 4g63t..

I guess they didn't have the Airtrek Turbo in the US? If you can get one it is a direct swap into an outlander.

There has to be a dodgy way to get an Airtrek in. I know of ways people do it in NZ, such as a fire wall swap. Highly illegal, but am quite surprised how common it is when looking to buy a race car. Every Evo 1-3 I've looked at is unable to legally be driven on the road, or its chassis name says its a Lancer MX CB3A or something, 1500cc etc.

We don't have airtrek turbos here. Just regular outlanders.

I richened it up to a 12.0 after that and it lost power. It ended up leaving at an 11.8 making the same power. The stock ECU in the 3G definitely doesnt work like an Evo computer.

since its a 4g64, can the eclipse ecu work? if so, that means the evo ecu should plug and play with a few added pins correct?

Sorry guys been WAY BUSY the last week and weekend as well.

So the trans is out to get the race build that I have and Andrew has for our Evos, Manual swap is going to be EVERYTHING Evo to make it work correctly. Nothing is simply just plug and play. Its close but not exact.

Our emphasis has switched to prepping the Drag Queen as Jeff calls it now (the 8.3 second Eclipse), getting the tune sorted with the new combo and then switching it over to the AEM Series 2 box we have for it this year. The Evolander probably wont see any love for another month or so.

Weird. It took me 3 times of reading this to get the sexual pun. That's a weird day when I don't pick up on that stuff... must mean I've got my mind really focused on cars lol.

Give me a call to talk about Jeff's car if you have time Aaron
