Back into a Z06

Congrats on your car. I purchased a new one back in 08 and I had it for 1.5 years. I documented everywhere on the forums that my C6 Z06 was a total lemon, I was able to prove it, the car that I had is on his 5th owner and dealers had to to extensive repairs.
One word of advise, save yourself $6000 and never take your car to Quality Motorsports in Lewisvile Tx (Near Dallas). I did a $2500 "head job" that reported no gains, I did their Q550 cam which was aweful for daily driving, I paid for a POS tune and I got my hood misaligned, my valve cover leaking and the cam cover plate leaking massively. In addition to that my valve guides were damage and bent due to the work from Quality Motorsports.
My C6 Z06 had a failure in which 3rd gear wouldn't go in. The Throw out bearing on this cars get contaminated by the asbestos on the clutch causing the Throwout bearing to not fully move the pressure plate causing the missshift .
I am waiting to see how the C7 is. It suppose to be revealed on 13 January..we will see.. I traded my C6 Z06 for a Mercedes C63 AMG which was immensely much better built.
The Vette that I had was quick even in stock form but then you have the awfull seats. Enjoy your car, is beautiful and you already had one so nothing that I am telling you is new. My car also had the Sway bar end links replaced 3 times and the alternator failed before 4 months owning the car. My windows has to be reset twice because of the unfamous roll-up then roll down 1".
Did you really to the stoptech on the calipers of are they stickers?
