Nice car man!

Any reason you didn't go with a newer model? The '12+ is definitely worth the extra change.

Also come on man, lose the ego, you stepped up your game, but its still only an older GT-R, there are way bigger fish in the sea.

well that type of person clearly is a POS. that is not jealousy. that is disrespectful and that type of person deserves to be beat. i have had people say negative comments about my EVO but i brush it off. i dont let it bother me because that is there opinion. now if they keyed my car because they lost to it or didnt like it then i would burn there house down while they sleep because i didn't like there door bell chime. i just do not see jealousy in this thread. i see what he asked for. ''what do you think'' and they gave there thoughts. he didnt like it because it was not what he wanted to here.

it is a nice GT-R for sure. but he is not better then you or I.

I'm sure there are also plenty of guys on this forum who can buy GT-R's also. It's a nice upgrade, for sure.

Looking to make the upgrade myself in the future.

Lol are u smoking crack. Not sure if u actually know of any 9sec GTR owners but I know a few and their cars are down as much as any other highly modded car. My Evo can be dd but I'm guessing the fact I have 5 other cars doesn't really make since to drive it. Not getting in a pi55ing contest with none here but the fact that I have owned and modded more cars in 12years (33cars) I think I know a bit about cars. GTR is a sweet car no doubt but when it comes down to it, it's just a 80k+ Nissian lol that needs another 20k+ to do what an evo can do on a stock frame turbo, retune and a good drive.

The GTR with a tune and bolt ons will murk any evo with 550-600 or less HP, just saying. I love Evo's but I'm not delusional.

Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.

All of the kits are extremely reliable, especially the Switzer Innovations Ultimate Street Edition, 1000WHP on pump gas. Not to mention they also have a customer with a 9 second P800 GT-R, with over 95k miles on the build, using the stock engine to boot.

The AMS kits are also very reliable. They are built with the intentions of being daily driven. This isn't just some slapped together Evo build that runs 9's, these cars have hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of R&D in them. I think AMS said they went through 7 engines alone just trying to build the perfect Alpha 12 package.

So I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but the GT-R is an easy 9 second car, and very reliable at that power, and can be as tame as it was from the factory.

Sure if you constantly drag race it then yeah, some drivetrain parts will break, but same with any car.

An 1000WHP street driven GT-R built by a reputable company(AMS, Switzer, etc) is as reliable as a 400WHP Evo.

HAHAV8 = V8HAHA?

Good pick up on the GT-R OP. I for one won't trade the Evo for any other car in the market, but the GT-R sure is worthy to be in the same garage.

I had a run with a gtr (not sure what year it was), but i was on my evo8 @ 450whp, and we were neck and neck. Owner of the gtr said he had full exhaust and flashed with cobb. He was real suprised how he didnt pull, gave thumbs up, and we went our seperate ways.

For someone to say that you can build a 9 second gtr and not worry about it breaking... lol, you must know nothing about gtr's, or cars in general.

This thread was garbage from the get go.

What you guys think of my new car ---> Post's a stock pic of a gtr

what you expect to hear? lol

As much i think its a nice car, i dont think me or anyone can say much more then "cool?". Anyone that actually knows you might say something like, "congrats man, you finally got it!", and the rest will say "meh".

just sayin

Plenty of people will own one, and already do own one. You really made it sound like you just bought a car for 250k, wake up.
