Ended up buying something different...
So the story goes back in 2008.... I went with my buddy to go check out the Lancer Ralliart at the Long Beach Mitsubishi. I like the car a decent amount but wasn't ready to buy. After them trying to sell me on the car my buddy and I swoon at the Evo X in the showroom.
Other sales guy notices and says "hey you want to take it out?"
Anyway lets just say my friend who accompanied me on my test drive ended up buying the EvoX that night.... Obviously I couldn't buy the ralliart anymore...
Fast forward to last year. I was searching around for what car to buy as I was getting tired of driving my 2005 Base Altima (Still a great commuter car). I was juggling a few options. Evo MR, GT-R, Volvo S60 T6, G37, BRZ, M3 blah blah blah.
But then suddenly I remember a V labs event I went to in the past for the Cadillac CTS-V and how much I enjoyed driving the wagon. During that time the MSRP of 75k optioned up or so was just way out of my price range. I didn't even know about the CTS-V until my Evo buddy told me about it being a decent ride.
Anyway... I decided to look up used prices and they were not too bad. I ended up getting a 2012 CTS-V Wagon that was private party and owned for 6 months with 4k miles on it at a decent price last November and that was that. I'm still surprised that I bought an American vehicle...

I guess the Evo will have to wait a bit longer

Very, very, jealous. Been hunting around for CTS-V Wagons for awhile. I settled on an S4 Avant for now, but I'll get my hands on a V-Wagon eventually!
Great buy, looks great. I'm still jealous.
To the op, the Evo doesn't have to wait ill trade you my ix for your wagon

still amazed I bought an american car...
I say if you're interested look around. I've seen used ones go down around 40k at times.
