New Civic Type R Concept
My Question is, will the new type r get better suspension dynamics than previous generation civic, to me after the ek and even the eg series they lost it. single bar rear is lame. Independent is best. The hp goals and torque should suffice. Tire width and track will also need to be aggressive. Styling is meh... Could be more crisp less like a dustbuster. Front air dam and rear diffusers as well as some "large wing" would be a must and more true to previous "r"
Also it should hopefully have an aggressive sound from mid to high rpm. Why buy a type R and be quiet? Why not buy your standard issue civic and turbocharge that?
I am curious to Hondas approach to automotive industries lately, boring is a common answer, but there is still a lot of love for the make and potential in there line ups with a few changes Definatley would benefit with a new version of s2k hell even an Accord with rear or true AWD would definitely change how many of us feel. The Pilot looks the part but drives like a brick, and has less than good power and bad fuel economy. They should get a grip and focus on the people they are selling to. Not saying there civic isn't selling, but it is lame on the out and needs better design inside.
Has anyone driven a crz? I have and the biggest fail was blind spots and lack of "GO" in fact I bagged on every gear to redline and attempted to make it move but it was sub par. Which in a economy car would be fine but fails as a revival of the crx.
Electrically assisted cars, aka hybrid, should push the engine further when flogging, at cruising it should simply allow for best fuel consumption. I have been waiting to see the pilot or hell even the MDX come out with a hybrid, properly done, should have mdx+ power range and much better fuel economy, as well as easier to swallow pricing. But if the other demands were met I am sure a few extra payments would make sense.
