ADFX Racing Supra
Thought you guys might like this one. Nice piece of work here:
Mike Carlins 980 RWHP Monster Supra!
This ADFX Racing built Supra is arguably the nations highest HP MKIV on a stock bottom end, rated at 980hp to the wheels and approximately 1150hp at the crank, all this with no NOS and only 35psi.
The key to power here is the careful selection of parts that allow for such power, and the extreme head work performed by ADFX Racing. The car boasts the new ADFX Racing MKIV Intake, as well as our new racing intercooler (simply the largest available). It also features a PTE GTS 76 turbo which is hand ported at ADFX Racing.

and for you lancer folks who are reading this, a couple guys from our club, MLC, has been working with ADFX to make a turbo kit for us lancer folks! so keep your heads up for this turbo kit coming out real soon.
OK. reason for automatic 3SPD. look how big the turbo is? if you have a 6 spd, you engage turbo, disengage, engage, disengage every single shift. with the automatic, no shift time--its engaged the entire time your foot is on the pedal. no turbo lag = full use of turbo spool = faster car. this lack of shift time allows the turbo be on full boost at all times through every gear..it really is a smart move
Dang thats a beautiful car!!! I'd love to get one of those bad boys but their still priced so freaking high due to such a high demand I guess. I might of missed the answer to this question but is this thing street driven (daily)??
