The Focus RS is based on a dated chassis with almost zero weight saving components added on (the one exception is the twinster, though its weight savings means its at/near its hp limit - per GKN engineer).

Come on, they're practically the same car. 4-door, AWD hatchback and a 2-door, RWD convertible.

"Welcome to the biggest hot hatch comparison test ever conducted on video, featuring the all-new Ford Focus RS, Honda Civic Type-R, Audi RS3, Mercedes-AMG A45, Volkswagen Golf R, Renault Sport Megane 275 Cup-S, Peugeot 308 GTI By Peugeot Sport 270, BMW 135i and Subaru Impreza WRX STI. We've driven each of these cars on road, set times on track, plus covered essential ownership items such as running costs and practicality to name, definitively, Britain's best hot hatch!"

Unfortunately, still no Evo in this comparison.

I'm completely shocked that they didn't include a soon-to-be-out-of-production sedan in a production hatchback shootout.
