A was a little surprised by that also. I have not driven a newer WRX, or the comparo car he used, but I thought they were supposed to have scads of low-end response.

I don't know, the new Civic Si is supposed to have a torque plateau from 1500 rpm on maybe that's what people expect these days?

the new wrx is making good boost by 1500 rpm also, its at full boost by 2000 rpm... its not anywhere near laggy by any definition

Some clown college kid rear-ended me in stop-and-go highway traffic a couple days ago. Not a big deal and I don't think it has frame damage... that I can see at least.

In general, have you guys owned cars long term that have had a significant hit?
