Subaru BRZ STI?
Being tested? If true what does that imply about possible release date?

Not a fan of the wing. Looks like tacked on ricer junk vs an OEM looking piece that comes on the Evo and WRX STI's...

Yea, its really too bad they refuse to offer a turbo model of the FRS/BRZ. Maybe in the next generation of the car. http://jalopnik.com/subaru-boss-conf...ith-1601705084

haha, yeah, thats not gonna happen... at least not with this gen
the obvious solution is putting in the wrx engine since it already has the same engine minus the turbo. those do 300whp with a couple bolt on's and a tune, and thats plenty for an 86... and they spool like nobodies business, its making good usable boost under 2k rpm. it'd be an awesome engine for the this car.

The FA20 is reasonably reliable. Especially compare to the EJ25. No need to change the engine. Just needs a turbo. As warmmilk said, the WRX unit would be solid.
