A build series in a magazine. They have numbers (dyno, laptimes, g's, etc.) !

Btw, a background article says the boost integration into the computers gets rid(?!) of the effects of compressor surge?

Ford just bumped their rebates from $700 to $1200... or 0% for 72 months AND $500 cash back.

With the new body style coming out, the deals are only going to get better on the old model.

Word is the new Fiesta ST will also be available in Liquid Blue https://www.topspeed.com/cars/ford/2...-ar176007.html

The curb weight has not been released yet. It will be slightly larger, but the new chassis could be lighter. '17s will be on lots for a while. I would wait until the specs are released.

"Ford claims the new ST will crack 0-62mph in 6.7 seconds, two tenths of a second faster than the outgoing car" http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/ford/fi...ures-and-video

New cars are almost always bigger/heavier.... especially if they are going to be more expensive (if even a little).

Getting one before it becomes a 1.5 liter three cylinder seems like the best order of business. I wouldn't want a three cylinder anything.

I love the FiST and think if you are a car enthusiast you must give this car a drive. The predictable over steer is a blast. The car is super peppy and just spirited in so many ways. My brother bought a 2016 left over New in Jan of this year. He opted to pass on the upgraded Recaro seats which I think was a mistake. I'm a previous FoST owner and enjoyed the car but if I had to do it all over again I would have gotten the FiST instead. I'm excited to see more development with the car and others who have shared some of the ST 200 info. The FiST is a great Urban rocket for sure.

I've been looking pretty hard at the Fiesta ST for a couple years and may get one.

Probably going to wait for more info on the 1.0L as mpg is pretty important for my 70 mile round trip on back 55mph country roads.
Be ready to walk and serious about buying. I got about 6k off my ST3. This was shortly after the RS had come out. I had done my research and was prepared to walk. 0% APR for 60 months as well.

Does Costco give the price now without talking to the dealer?

No, you have to provide your email. I've gotten about 5-6 emails so far. Only the 2nd one had the price, the rest were asking if I needed any more info and wanting me to come test drive but the closest Costco dealer is 2 hours away.
