VIR is beautiful and since they are doing the Grand Course, it probably CAN be labeled the most grueling track. In its portions, like VIR North, South, Patriot, its nowhere near the technicality of something like NJMP.

They used the wrx with performance package. So not an STI, but the 2015 STI is only .1secs faster than a 2010 Evo Se. See Lightning lap full list #146 and 144

yeah, but its behind all the serious cars except the Alfa Giulia which is only .3 behind. the rest of the cars aren't serious laptime contenders

.... please take lightening lap times for reference, its something for fun that sells magazines however inconsistencies are the norm.
