What would you want to import?
I'm setting up an car import business and wanted to tap the community for some advice. My wife is a import/customs attorney and a licensed customs agent and we're have friends that are buyers in Japan, Australia and Europe that are helping up pick out some awesome cars.
We're seeing what kind of stuff you guys would want imported. What's in your non-USDM dream garage? What are you guys dying to see stateside?
We're setting up an import business that's goal is to import hard to find 25+ year old cars and work with within the rules to get some interesting gear stateside, I.E. Evo Is, IIs.
Thanks,
Eric

Might be worth looking at what grey imports are popular in Canada, they have a pretty thriving scene up there. Personally I've always liked the idea of the hotter Stagea wagons, but you might get good traction from weirder, little Kei stuff like the Honda Beat and Suzuki Cappucino. I also kinda want a Toyota Sera, but only because they're so weird
In Europe, if you can find Mk2 Escorts they seem to have enough recognition here now that they'd sell. I'd have one if I didn't live in California..

R34 (I know it'll be some time)
Last gen RX-7s (also know it'll be some time)
964s/993s (I know we have them but the prices are so inflated, would be nice to start saturating the market so I could afford one)
Edit: sorry, got super excited and didn't make it to the 25+ year, though some 964s would meet that.

He did say "car import business"
You could also look into cool 4x4's as well, that we didn't get here or that are harder to find. There are some cool 80's jeeps that are turbo diesel and made by mitsubishi. Land rovers, toyotas (hilux, land cruisers) Older G wagens, suzuiki jimny's and the like... etc.
