Cadillac CTS

Since I first heard of the thing I've liked it. Just a really cool sedan to me. Not the most powerful thing out there but it scoots. A great car to probably drag the crew around in with some nice ICE.

Thoughts anyone?

Just saw barbershop today, there's a scene where they're talking about reperations to African Americans. Ced's comment is, all that will do is make Cadillac the #1 Car dealership in America. had me rollin. Yeah they're sick, I've liked every caddy since they dropped the Cimmaron. (Cavalier with caddilac emblems on the lights. literally)

I really hate Caddys. My dad buys them. So there is my bias out there for all of you.

About four months ago I went to one of these Road & Track ride and drive events put on by caddy.

The CTS was compared to a BMW 325i and a Lexus ES300. All automatics of course and all in the same price range. First of all I'd never repeat never buy an automatic in any kind of car.

But if you’re in the market for an automatic in that price range I would try the caddy. It was much better mated to an automatic than the BMW. The BMW had slightly crisper handling but the auto sucked the life out of that car. The Lexus just plain sucked.

The CTS is uglier than sin and the looks will age like a can of opened tuna. Nothing will look older in five years than a real bad futuristic design. I have owned truly ugly cars in the past and have been happy (91 SAAB 9000 Turbo) so looks may not matter.
I would expect it to be more reliable that European cars and less reliable than Japanese cars. For me it was better than I expected.

From: Why do they always call the Evo the Dark Side?
plus, when you buy one, led zeppelin music suddenly plays from nowhere...

i don't know... it seems very midlife crisis to me, but the specs look pretty solid.
