Opinions on '05 Subaru Legacy's?
Lately, the new Legacy's have been growing on me. With it's amazing interior, the European-inspired looks, and a potent 2.5L inline4, it seems as it's the best bang for the buck. I may decide on getting this instead of the '02 Audi S4 Avant, for a number of reasons:
1) It's new, so it will retain it's new-car smell :-D 2) With the EJ25T, I imagine it would easier to modify and cheaper than the 2.7T in the S4 3) The interior is elegantly designed IMO. Even though it's not on par with an Audi(what car is in terms of interior?), it still holds it's own. 4) The styling is very European and is bound to turn heads. What do you think? Also, while you're at it, post some pics of fixed-up '05 Legacy's if you can :D I can't wait to see one with powdercoated black wheels with a polished lip {thumbup} |
I thiink that it is a beautiful car. Subaru makes a fine and reliable automobile. With the exception of that POS 5 speed transmission!

I have driven the new LGT (and almost bought it). Very solid and quiet car with good power and okay handling. Only few things I don't like are the steering feel and shifter. They are pretty numb compare to cars like the TSX and IS300. I also drove the auto GT but it was much slower than the stick version.
You can find more infos from www.legacysti.com |

You're gonna pay about $4k more than the Legacy thought but well worth it. If you can wait a few months the 05's are gonna have the LS2 with 400hp....sweet!!!!!! |

That new legacy GT looks awesome. With the same engine as the STi, all you need is a boost controller and you are kickin some ass. I've really been thinkin about that car in comparison to the Evo and the IS300. My girlfriend thinks I need somethin more classy lookin, and that or the IS could be it.

the legacy gt hands down dont question the power of subaru well unless of course your comparing an evo to one......

yep....plus the car has been around for a few years already so the Holden boys have had a chance to work out the kinks. |

I think these have been posted before but here are some HOT body kits for the 2005 Legacy GT.....wagon too. IMHO one of these are a must to get rid of the Camry-ish looks in certain spots.
