the new lights on the STi/WRX are growing on me, though I still like the bugeyed look...

the hood scoop is my visual thing I don't like about the STi, but that's easily balanced out by a cool wing & nice wheels.

I think its very tough to make a case for the sti over the evo as far as looks go. The evo is just a beautiful car. Heres hoping the evo can take the sti where it counts: performance. :mitsu:

we will all benefit.... without an Sti or EVO... they would settle for less performance... hell, we got the EVO because of the WRX and STi

Thats not exactly true we got the Evo because of the WRX not the sti. And now the STi is coming because of the Evo.

How can you compare the ugly scobby to the Evo in looks? I know as hardcore driving enthusiasts we look at the performance of the cars first and foremost, which is why I would consider the scooby, but come on, IT IS BUTT UGLY IN COMPARISON!

neither are exactly good looking cars...
I prefer the Evo over the STi, but that's just me.... Neither are going to win any awards because of their beauty, they are purposefully designed with little regard for looks.

That may be true for Impreza, but I think the fact that 90% of this forum is comprised of US Lancer owners shows that the body style of the car wasn't completely neglected, and even still the US Lancer pales in comparision to the EVO style wise. (and ofcourse performance wise)
