I haven't been around for a while. I bought a truck.

Receiving too many tickets and the recent birth of my son has prompted me to go in a new direction vehicle-wise. I am building a track car (1971 BMW 2002 with an E30 M3 drivetrain) and I needed a truck to tow it.

I've had this thing for ~2 weeks and it rocks.

The obstacle ahead:

Midway through the hole:

I thought I was a goner, but the truck pulled through:

Happy to have made it with only minor damage:

Traction control doesnt like you in the first pic. You said truck and I thought F-150/Ram, but the Benz is definitely nice. Pics of BMW?

I don't have any on this computer. I'll post them later.

Sure it is. It's body-on-frame construction with solid front and rear axles. It also has a locking transfer case as well as locking front and rear differentials. It's definitely not an SUV as there is no 'Sport' about it.

Oh I think it's an SUV, but the S is for Serious. Cool trucks. Good to see one being driven where it was designed to be taken. (not to the mall, and not on 20"s)
