So, I just got a call from the dealer... My 2007 (weird, I know) GTI will be here later this week. I got a great deal trading in my leased RA, and love VW's, so it made sense. Hopefully I'm making a good choice...

They gave me $15,000 on the trade. My car is a 2004 and has 62,000km's though... You'll have to come for a rip in the GTI after I get it chipped up. :)

cool...Im from E town.... I love VW as well..my best friend has a VR6 jetta lowered, vento badges, power look headlights and other euro stuff done...... I wish I had VW, but I love my RA. Next time im down in C town we should meet up I wanna see that GTI up close.

I'm up in Edmonton fairly often, my folks live up there. After i get the car I'd totally be game for meeting up.

My last car before the lancer was a 2002 Jetta 1.8T, and I loved it. Had to sell it to buy a house though. Now I'm back to the dub... :) This seemed like the easiest way to get a turbo car too.

I wanted to get a GTI with DSG. I drove it a couple of weeks ago. The DSG incredible, but the engine didn't feel that strong. My bro has an '05 GLI, and the new GTI doesn't feel/sound quite as good. Dunno why.

I dont understand why you where going to turbo your "leased" Ralliart in the first place... I hope you bought your new GTI because if you didnt and you mod it the mods are useless and even if you sell them after your lease is up or you trade it in your still in the hole.
