Well for sure a professionally driven Evo 8 would run a 13.1-13.3 depending on who tested it.

Actually a 13.1-13.6 depending on which magazine tested it. Sorry.

He just made this thread because he traded his Evo for a MPoS. This is not a Mazda forum buddy, i doubt many people will care that a Mazdaspeed 3 runs a 13.barely at the track. Good try.

if thats true with a 8, then the 9 should do 12s... b/c theres like 30whp difference...

hmmm ok well it looks like low 13's. theres one i found and from the little bit i read it had a reflashed ecu and and did like a 12.2 anyway heres the link.

MalibuJack ran a 12.9 in his 03, several people did it in 05s, and a lot of people have done it in 06 IXs. It doesn't matter what magazines did, because they get 3 tries and take the average of those 3 runs, then post it in the magazine. On 05/06 Evos, that includes having to deal with the 5k limiter without any practice, which is why our 0-60 and 1/4-mile times are so underrated in most mags.

As for the MP3, look, you switched to a car that doesn't compare to the Evo, and now you're trying to justify that purchase, but that doesn't mean we care. Don't post this stuff in Evo general.

It has more than a reflashed ECU, read the entire article.
