Cars you wouldn't have expected to be fast...
 

I am looking to round up a list of cars that the average person never expected to be fast... a sleeper I guess you could say. The list will be comprised of cars that can be made (with not a ton of money) or already are fast, but not really expected to be from the average persons perspective. Fast is defined by the surprise of the opponent...

theres a guy here in NJ that has a an 89 volvo with a 1jz in it and a big single!!!! it is pretty beat up and it is the ultimate sleeper!

Not sure if mine could be considered a sleeper according to you guys..

My malibu might have qualified if it still looked stock..

But besides the malibu and Evo, I have this older crown victoria, former cop car.. I had always toyed with the idea of building up a motor and either supercharging or twin turbo.. That is what I'd consider a sleeper.. Its surprisingly light for its size, and shares alot with the same vintage mustangs in the front-end.

Yea a twin turbo crown vic.... that is a sleeper!! I say do it.

DEFINITELY falls into the sleeper category. My buddies is QUICK. the speed six is crap in comparsion.
