Godzilla killed the Nazi's

Time attack and head to head, again and again... the gtr is easy to drive(wonders of awd), it looks like the 997 was stuggling to control while cornering.

1. They used an automatic 911. The auto is slower and doesn't have a LSD ( I know the GTR is auto, but the 911 is offered in a faster manual version).

2. It looked like Tsuchiya was pointing out that the 911 had worn out tires and should run a little faster (can anyone translate Japanese )

3. They let Tsuchiya (the "drift king" and usual designated driver) drive the GTR and Daisuke drive the 911.

4. It looked like the 911 driver was taking bad lines (especially sloppy coming around a few of those corners leading into the straights).

5. The GTR had racing bucket seats - why? How much weight savings do you get from those (90lbs?) and is that all that was modded?

So yeah, I believe a manual 911 with fresh tires and equal drivers against a STOCK GTR will be a lot closer (about equal IMO).

I don't know if they did it on purpose or not, but the guy driving the Porsche was really sloppy. I thought his car was all over the place. it's either that or the Porsche is a car that's hard to control when driven to it's limits. But I really doubt that, after all we are talking about a Porsche twin turbo.

He took bad lines and the car had worn out tires. No LSD either.
