Nissan Drops Launch Control on 2010 R35's
This is for all the pissed off owners of the new R35. Nissan uses the perfomance numbers achieved using launch control for their ads, but if a customer uses it Nissan voids their warranty. Well not any more... as Nissan will get rid of the feature for the 2010 model year.
Check it out... http://www.leftlanenews.com/nissan-a...-for-gt-r.html |
Wow that suxs for future GTR owners. I'm pretty sure Mitsubishi will follow and not have launch control on the Evo X MR.

JATO lol, urban legends never die
|
I wonder what the official 0-60 will be now...
|
I knew that already but I chose not to make comments. The standard launch works well however Nissan had to get their potencial mechanical issue cover and also protect that $18k transmission. That wheel hop that many owners complained was part of the issue. The car should still be able to launch fast though.
I keep reading and hearing from owner and non owners that they would rather see a manual 6 speed fitted on the GTR, the price issue on that transmission has been a questionable debate . Carlos |
just checked ebay and it looks like GTRs can already be bought for 80K and below ..... weee
|
It was only a matter of time before they dropped the LC. Anyway, a lot better deals on GTRs now, some people are finding them for old MSRP.
|
^^^ I am glad to hear... Do you think the weak economy has some part to blame for the lowering prices?
Carlos |
haha probably .. Wo9uld be funny if nissan would start offering 0% for 60months on GTRs lol ...
Just hate to be the 1 that paid over 100K for it .... Damn dealer mark ups lolz |
^^^True, but if you paid 100k for one, you got what you deserved.
