Yep, it seems if you want your car to run its best time you need to just give him some seat time.

It is not in the 10's if you red light. Awesome numbers, regardless.

That said, what is also amazing. Is that the car had only 115miles on it. Not even broken in..

WOW, astonishing 1/4 mile times. I suspect it could be improved to another 2 tenths with DR. It is absolutely neck to neck and toe to toe with two other drivers that also ran a 10.9@129 on a bone stock Z06 (www.rangeracceleration).

That guy can launch very well. It is funny how he folds the mirrors that is a old timers habit that I always have. I want to emphasize the importance of weight and power to weight ratio:

New viper with 8.3 liters and 600hp(roughly 3400lbs) vs Z06 with 7.0liters and 505 hp(roughly 3150-3180lbs) run almost identical

times.

I have seen a bone stock z06 run those times.

You have seen Jamie and 2 othes run those times!! Jamie is the man and has a true enthusiasts garage we would all die for: Ford GT, 997 GT2, 2 Vipers, 2 Vettes, Charger, 66, etc etc.

He acknowledged the Viper has a little more power and the car has a little more in it. He also said he much prefers the Z06 even if the Viper has a hair more potential in stock form.

^^exactly. Which means i'd sit myself in a more powerful, better looking, more intimidating, whore-pulling, better sounding car any day VIPER FTW. Dodge ftl tho..then again mitsu ftl as well :P

:(Man, I was just about to buy one of those but decided to finish college and buy a house. Guess I will have to wait. That thing is a beast. Did any one read the SCC (rip) where they put a moded Evo8 up against a stock Viper on the track. I think the Evo won, but who cares I will take the Viper.

Was that the test, where they ran over at Willow Springs Raceway?
