Still breaking it in so I will post a more detailed review once I can beat on it.

Initial impressions the EVO handles better but I only have a couple hundred miles on it so I am taking it very easy. Power again taking it very easy but I can tell this beast would destroy my stage two EVO. The stock AMG exhaust sounds awesome. Interior there is no comparison which is to be expected. Haven't driven it much but I think it will attract much less negative attention from the local law enforcement.

For those who are not familiar it's a C63 AMG w/P31 package which includes forged internals netting 481hp and 451tq.

More than two new EVO's.

Beautiful car and congrats on it, but....

That is a luxury touring car that weighs close to 5,000lbs. The hp and tq numbers are very deceiving as well. First, u said it has 481hp. That is to the crank and not the wheel so realistically you are looking at around 380-400, which are still great numbers, but it's more so just to get that heavy ass beast moving and not for speed. From the numbers I've seen online of that car it runs an extremely respectable 12.4 1/4. So it's almost identical to an x, so u can for get the "crushing"

I honestly don't really know anything about the AMG Benz's. The car looks awesome though. I bet it is a blast though. I'm sure it would smoke most stockish Xs like mine.

That is a C63 AMG.

There is not a better car to drive to work and back in. Automatic transmission, beastly V8, beautiful interior, comfortable ride, and the peace of mind with AMG. I have driven one. I loved it. It feels like a muscle car. It really does. I love that. {thumbup}

It's the big brother to my EVO and thanks for trying to school me on my own cars, lol. These cars (w/P31) are notorious for being underrated and in fact dyno numbers are a good 30-40 hp higher than the high number you quoted. Not to mention it has 150 more pounds of torque than the EVO. It also weights 3900lbs which is a big difference from 5000lbs.

This isn't my first time driving a C63 and it will have it's way with any EVO unless it has a turbo upgrade. A stage 2 EVO stock turbo may be close in quarter mile but above that it's toast. Anyway thanks for the comments I love the car so far.

Love the look of the 63' bad a$$ car just heavy needs more HP.

It's only about 300lbs heavier than the EVO. I think you're confusing this with the E63 AMG which is a bigger, heavier car. Power to weight is very good on this vehicle.

SOEuro sorry I missed your question. Appearance wise I ordered new wheels today and once I get more comfortable with the car I will consider power. Since I have the P31 package there isn't a lot I can do outside of longtube headers and supercharger.
