A good watch.

She talks about keeping the car simple and light weight to stay true to the original, yet the car is neither. 3,803 lb. curb weight {thumbdwn}

What was the curb weight of the original? 2,9** lbs?

its a hybrid, what do you expect? batteries are heavy...

I think she was talking about aesthetics only when she was talking about staying true to the original design (I could be wrong, its been a few days since I've watched the video)

I expect a super car to be um... fast?

it is fast... just cause its heavy doesn't mean its not fast...

and the original NSX wasn't fast...

saxon Mar 3, 2016 04:17 PM

its certainly a beautiful looking car

the original NSX is a timeless design IMO

really? idk, the front kind ruins the rest of the car for me... and the rest of it looks cool, but I wouldn't beautiful. but its a matter of taste I guess.

But I agree, the original is truly timeless. the only thing that dates it is the original wheels/tires.

573 hp pushing 3803 lbs for $156,000 just doesn't impress me. Its being called "the slowest supercar in the world" http://www.automotiveaddicts.com/590...he-world-video

haha, I guess thats what they meant when they said true to form...

but on a serious note, it does 0-60 in 3.0 seconds, there are only 2 cars that are faster that aren't in the hypercar sphere...

and the only time he said it wasn't up to supercar performance was when he mentioned the tires, which, could still very well change before it hits showroom floors, and if not, you can just get a different set of tires.

all that being said, I'm not a huge fan. its got too much tech in it. sounds like you just point and shoot and the car drives for you. Those shocks sound cool though, I wonder how long till that technology is available in the aftermarket for reasonable costs

Now the "baby NSX" on the other hand (if they make it) sounds promising http://funnycarfactory.com/future%20...n-hunting.html

Nice cars, but how about bringing some excitement to more affordable cars.

But we don't get it (yet).

And I'm still waiting for Honda to replicate their 'Ring time with a stock production model like they vowed they would.
